They meet in upstate New York. He was traveling with some friends and happened to stay the night in the small and quaint hotel she ran. They meet, talked, and went on a date 2 weeks after. That date changed everything and they have been together ever since! That sounds like serendipity to me, have you ever experienced the world aligning just to give you what you wished for?
When they first moved in with each other it was in a great little place in Mt. Vernon. A neighborhood I love walking around in with a ton of great little shops to explore. It's got a cozy feeling to it with small-town vibes. We meet at the Washington Monument. The buildings are beautiful and we had a blast walking around and finding cute spots for photos. It was hard to take a bad photo of them. You could really sense that they were good for eachother.
We popped some champagne and hit up one of their favorite neighborhood restaurants, The Prime Rib. It was their good to spots when they lived in the area, so they wanted to include a piece of their story during their portrait session. Let me tell you the space was so cool, and even though they were closed for dine-in it smells FANTASTIC since. I would highly recommend based solely on the smells.
